Afghanistan Defeat Netherlands By 75 Runs; Complete 3-0 Whitewash

In the 3rd ODI between Afghanistan and Netherlands played at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha, Afghanistan pulled off an amazing win as they defeated the Netherlands by 75 runs. 

Afghanistan already led the 3-match 2-0 going into the final match. In this match, after opting to bat first, Afghanistan posted 254/5 in 50 overs with half-centuries from Najibullah (71) and Riaz Hussain (50) and 48 from Rahmat. 

In reply, Netherlands posted a century opening- stand with fifties from Scott Edwards (54) and Colin Ackermann (81), posting 103 in 22 overs. After that Afghan bowlers took over and decimated the Netherlands batting, picking up the 10 wickets in a space of 76 runs, restricting them to 179/10.

All Afghan bowlers managed to pick up wickets, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Fareed Ahmed Malik and Azmatullah Omarzai picked up 1 wicket each, Rashid Khan picked up two while Qais Ahmed picked up 3 wickets. 

Afghanistan have completed a 3-0 clean sweep and have grabbed all the available 30 Super League points on offer.
