One of the strongest contender for the 2016 ICC World T20 title - Team INDIA is also the host of the 6th edition of world t20 event. Recent clean sweep of Australia in Australia and 2-1 victory at home over Sri Lanka put them as favourites for the tournament. A brief analysis on team India fort he upcoming World T20 is as follows:

Strong and in-form batting line-up

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and MS Dhoni forms the backbone of Indian batiing line-up. The teams batting is capable of destroying any bowling attack. Event the lower order players - R Jadeja, R Ashwin etc are capable of some hard hitting.

Home Conditions and Pitch

The home conditions favours spin bowlers and this will be another plus point for the team. Team India has a battery of slow bowlers in the form of R Ashwin, Ravinder jadeja, Harbhajan as frontline spinners. Yuvraj Singh can be a dark horse in this team as he can contibute both with the bat and his slow arm spin bowling. Not to forget that he played a pivotal role as a part time spinner in the 2011 World Cup.

Unorthodox Jaspreet Burmah and Experienced Mohd. Shami and Ashish Nehra will shoulder the pace bowling duties for India.

Death bowling is an are of concern for India over the years and team has to work on this area. Captain Cool Mahender Singh Dhoni's experience of IPL will also come handy in making strategies for opposition batsman.
