Fast bowlers bowling with the new ball in test cricket is a treat to watch. The swing and the seam movement they get is always tough on the batters to score runs off.

Jhye Richardson is playing his third test match and first after 2019. He gets the ball to swing and bowls at an average pace of 140 kmph.

After more than two years, Richardson bowled his first over of Test cricket and it was right on the money. All his bowls swung away from the right-hander Haseeb Hameed except one.

The first ball swung away from the driving length that Hameed left. Second moved away from a good length and Hameed had to get his bat away from the ball quickly. The third ball was on similar length as the second but it went straight and beat Hameed.

Fourth ball same but a bit wide. The fifth ball was full and came into Hameed, who pushed it towards square leg. The sixth ball was again a Jaffa and similar to the third ball.

A perfect first over especially on a comeback that made the batter uncomfortable on every ball.
