The 3rd match of the Legends League Cricket saw one of the most amazing finishes when leg-spinner Imran Tahir smashed 52 runs in just 19 balls to help World Giants beat India Maharajas.

Giants were struggling at 130/6 while chasing a stiff target of 210 set up by Maharajas, thanks to Naman Ojha's 140. The 42-year-old Tahir came out to bat and hit his first two balls to the boundary.

Tahir, however, came to his own in the 18th over when he smashed Manpreet Gony for three sixes. In the next over, he found a boundary against Munaf Patel to reduce the target 12 in the last over.

Venugopal Rao was asked to bowl that over and Tahir slog-swept him for a six over midwicket. On the third ball, Tahir danced down the track to finish the match with a straight six and reach his fifty in 19 balls.

It was also Imran Tahir's last game of the league as he will be participating in the Pakistan Super League(PSL), starting from 27th Jan.
