In the World Cup semifinal match against Australia, it was Dinesh Bana, who helped India finish on a high. India was in great momentum with captain Yash Dhull scoring a century and vice-captain Sheikh Rasheed making 94 to get India over the 250-run mark.

After the duo got out in successive deliveries, India needed to finish highly to get the momentum with them. Dinesh Bana arrived at the crease with the score reading 259/5 in the 48.5 overs.

With only seven deliveries left, Bana smashed the first ball for four. In the last three balls of the innings, Bana smacked a 6,4, and 6 to help India get 290/5 in the first innings.

Dinesh Bana remained unbeaten on 20 off 4 balls, having a strike rate of 500.
