A bouncer is one of the most dangerous deliveries a bowler can bowl. A speedy bouncer can lead to mishaps and dangerous injuries. It is one of the reasons why there is a bouncer rule made and batters are advised to wear helmets all the time.

Sometimes the delivery is too quick that even a helmet can't help in absorbing the pain. A similar thing happened in the Bangladesh Premier League(BPL) game on Monday when West Indies' dangerous batter Andre Fletcher was hit by a bouncer.

The incident happened in the seventh over of the match between Khulna Tigers and Chattogram Challengers when Rejaur Rahman Raja bowled a bouncer which Fletcher tried to pull but missed.

The ball struck his neck and Fletcher immediately fell to the ground in pain. He kept struggling with the pain for a few minutes before he was stretched off from the ground to give proper medical attention.

The West Indian was taken to the hospital for precaution and post-match, the team manager said that Fletcher was out of danger now.

During the match, Sikandar Raza played in place of Fletcher as the concussion substitute.
