Kolkata, May 5 (IANS) Adjudged man-of-the-match for his for an outstanding bowling performance, Kolkata knight Riders pacer Umesh Yadav said getting rid of Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner early was the most important thing for his side in an Indian Premier League contest here on Monday.

Umesh fiinshed with 2/34 from his four overs which helped his side claim a 35-run victory over Sunrisers. Both his wickets came in the first over as he castled both Warner (4) and Naman Ojha (0) with the score reading 6/2 at the Eden Gardens.

'Warner's wicket was very important for us. We wanted an early wicket and we were extremely happy to get him out. We had a particular plan for him and it worked," Umesh said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

The fast bowler said he is trying to focus on his fitness and strategy which he thinks will make him a better bowler.

"I focus on my fitness and as a bowler, you need to have a proper strategy and plan in place when you go out to bowl,' he said.
