Jasprit Bumrah was bowling the first over for team India, and on the 5th delivery, he angled the ball towards the off stump. Dean Elgar went across the line to play it, but didn't poke at it outside off, but it seamed away just enough to take Elgar's bat's thick outside edge.

Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, completed an excellent catch diving to his left, to complete the wicket. This is a big wicket for the Indian team as Dean Elgar scored 207 runs in 3 matches the last time India toured South Africa.
