Quotes

Kumara Sangakkara (Man of the match) : Not really sure which records I broke, entire team is working hard and we were competitive right through the series but not happy with the series loss though we expressed ourselves. I am glad that my achievements are helping team to get some good results. Blackcaps played brilliant cricket with many splendid performances, we can learn a lot from them but having said that we are proud of our efforts in the series.

Lahiru Thirimanne: We batted well today, Dilshan and Sangakkara played well as they have done throughout the series, that helped us to get a good total, our problem was bowling in the death but the bowlers did the job for us, it was a good effort from the bowlers.

Kane Williamson: We want to win every game we play, they outplayed us in all three facets. Sangakkara and Dilshan played well, their bowlers swung the ball and got the better of us. Lower middle order had some good time in the middle but we weren't successful in getting it over the lines. It has been a fantastic series, they played hard which helped us to give our best.
