DC vs SRH IPL 2022: Rishabh Pant, a dynamic & exciting name in Indian cricket, has not displayed his best in the ongoing IPL 2022 after shifting to the #4 batting position. The Delhi Capitals captain has got starts but gets dismissed in the middle overs. In the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pant targetted Gopal after starting off slow and smacked 22 runs in 4 deliveries. However, the spinner got his mark as he dismissed the batter on the next delivery. 

At the end of 8 overs, Delhi Capitals were at 62/2 with Rishabh Pant on 4(11). David Warner was on strike at the start of the over and took a single on the first delivery to bring the skipper on strike. 

On the second delivery of the over, Shreyas Gopal delivered a wrong one and Pant anticipated it early, swiping it high & over square leg for a six. Rishabh Pant danced came down the pitch on the next delivery and lifted it for a flat six over the bowler's head. 

The SRH leg spinner yet again went with the wrong one on the next delivery, pitching it slower and wider of off. Pant got forward and played a lofted drive, high and over wide long-off to complete a hat-trick of sixes. Pant went on to smack a four on the next delivery.

On the last ball of the over, Shreyas Gopal bowled possible the worst bowl of the over. A low full toss on the off stump, Pant lost his shape while trying to muscle a huge shot, lost his shape and managed an inside edge which went on to dislodge the off stumps. The Delhi Capitals batter was dismissed after scoring 26 runs in 16 balls with a four & 3 sixes.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the toss & opted to field first against Delhi Capitals in the 50th match of the IPL 2022. This match is being played at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
