Semi-Finals

  • India vs Sri Lanka: The match was awarded to Sri Lanka by match referee Clive Lloyd when play could not continue due to the rioting crowd.
  • Australia beat West Indies by 5 runs in the second semi-final

Sri Lanka beat Australia at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore by 7 wickets to lift the trophy
