Mumbai, July 6, Leg-spinner Karn Sharma has fractured his left middle finger and was on Monday ruled out of India's limited overs tour to Zimbabwe starting from Friday.

"The medical team confirms that leg-spinner Karn Sharma has been ruled out of India’s tour of Zimbabwe due to injury. Karn has fractured his left middle finger," the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement.

Batsman Ajinkya Rahane will lead a second string Indian side that will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.

The BCCI didn't name replacement for 27-year-old Railways tweaker Karn and that means India will travel with a 14-member squad. Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and left-armer Axar Patel will be India's leading slow bowlers.
