On the second bowl, with the previous delivery in mind, Markram decided to leave the ball. Jasprit Bumrah pitched a good length delivery which 'decked' in dislodged top of off stump as Markram stood there with both hands and his bat in the air. Team India were overjoyed with this early wicket in the day.

While talking about the match, in reply to India's total of 230 in the first innings, South Africa have scored 35/2 in 14 overs while writing this piece. Bumrah has picked up both wickets for India; nightwatchman Keshav Maharaj (16*) and Keegan Petersen (3*) are at the crease for the hosts.
