Shikhar Dhawan(78) and Shimron Hetmyer(42*) take Delhi Capitals(DC) to a score of 189/3 in the first innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH).
Earlier, DC captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first. Delhi got off to a flyer in the first six overs as they scored 65 runs without any loss.
New Opener Marcus Stoinis(38) and Shikhar Dhawan added 86 runs for the first wicket in 51 balls. Stoinis scored five fours and a six during his innings.
Dhawan and Shimron Hetmyer gave the final push as they scored 52 runs in 28 balls. Shikhar's innings of 78 included six fours and two sixes. Hetmyer smashed four boundaries and a six during his knock.
For SRH, Rashid Khan took one wicket and conceded 26 runs in his four overs.
