Mumbai, Dec 17 (CRICKETNMORE): Promising Indian opener Prithvi Shaw, who had suffered a left ankle injury during a practice game against Cricket Australia (CA) XI, was ruled out of the ongoing Test series against Australia, the BCCI announced here on Monday.

The board's All-India Senior Selection Committee named Karnataka opener Mayank Agarwal as Shaw's replacement.

Meanwhile, selectors have also added all-rounder Hardik Pandya to India's squad for the third and fourth Tests, slated to be held in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively.
