Birmingham, July 31 (CRICKETNMORE) - England pace spearhead James Anderson has been ruled out of the fourth ashes test due to a side strain. Anderson has so far picked up 10 wickets in the ongoing series.

While bowling the third delivery of his eighth over on the day two of the 3rd test, the 33-year-old seamer was forced to go off the field. Anderson was the chief architect's in England's first inning where he had sent away 6 Australian batsman and played an instrumental role in Australian debacle.

The fourth Test will begin on August 6, while the fifth will start from August 20 at the historic Oval. The series is presently locked at 1-1.
