Dharamsala, March 26 (Cricketnmore) India posted 64/1 in their first innings at lunch on the second day of the fourth and final cricket Test against Australia here on Sunday.

Opener Lokesh Rahul was batting on 31 while the in-form Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten on 22.

The hosts are now trailing Australia's first innings total of 300 by 236 runs.Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood dismissed opener Murali Vijay for figures of 1/16.

India started off on a slow note with Vijay and Rahul batting cautiously and leaving most of the deliveries on or outside the off-stump.

Australian fast bowlers Hazlewood and Pat Cummins bowled with pace and movement.

Hazlewood almost got a wicket in the second over of the day when Vijay pushed at a delivery and the ball fell just short of David Warner at mid-off.

Cummins found success with the second ball of his second spell when an away going delivery found the outside edge of Murali Vijaya's bat for a simple catch to wicketkeeper Matthew Wade.

Cummins missed out on a wicket in his next over when Rahul edged one to first slip but the ball went over Renshaw on its way to the boundary.

Rahul and Pujara, however, ensured that the hosts went into the lunch break without losing a wicket.
