Dhaka, July 2 (IANS) Bangladesh's One-Day International (ODI) skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has reactivated his official social networking stage Facebook fan page.

After the reactivation on Wednesday night, he posted a message on the page saying "he couldn't resist reactivating the page by seeing the support (of) the fans", reports bdnews.24.com on Thursday.

"Wanted to keep the page off after seeing some of the recent incidents, but the love from you guys didn't let that happen," he wrote.

Irked by the abusive comments on a photo uploaded by his teammate Nasir Hossain, the pacer deactivated the page to protest and stand by his colleague.

"Yes, it's because of your love we have come this far. Hopefully you all won't write anything negative in anyone's posts. Thanks for being by my side," he wrote on Wednesday.
