The 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup was the eighth edition of Cricket World Cup. For the first time it was played in Africa. It was co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya from 9 February to 23 March 2003.

14 teams participated in the tournament. The teams are divided into two groups, and the top three from each group qualified for the Super Sixes stage.

Australia won their third world cup defeating India by 125 runs in the final at Johannesburg.
