In a high-stakes thriller at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Punjab Kings (PBKS) edged out Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by four wickets in the final over of a chaotic game that ended CSK’s playoff hopes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Wednesday.

A brilliant bowling performance from Yuzvendra Chaha (4/32 including a hat-trick)l, which helped the team restrict CSK at 190. In reply, Shreyas Iyer 72(41) and Prabhsimran 54(36) chipped in with valuable contributions.

With the result, CSK has become the first side to get out of the 2025 IPL.
