West Indies captain Hayley Matthews delivered a commanding performance in the series decider, guiding her side to a six-wicket victory over South Africa in the third T20I at Cave Hill on Monday.

Matthews once again starred with the bat, crafting a composed half-century to anchor the chase as West Indies overhauled South Africa’s 147/6 with nine balls to spare.

Her standout effort sealed a 2-1 series win — the Caribbean side’s first T20I series triumph over South Africa since 2013, ending a 12-year drought in bilateral contests between the two teams.
