Bangladesh Beat UAE By 27 Runs In First T20I
Parvez Hossain became only the second Bangladeshi cricketer to score a century in a T20 international, powering Bangladesh to a 27-run victory over the UAE in the first of the two-match series at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
His blistering hundred, which featured a record nine sixes, helped Bangladesh post a commanding total of 191 for 7 in their 20 overs.
In reply, the hosts suffered a dramatic collapse, losing their final seven wickets for just 33 runs and were eventually bowled out for 164 on the last ball of the innings.
