    The Shubman Gill: The Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans (GT) will face Riyan Parag's Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 9 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

    GT will be aiming to secure their first win of the season after suffering a narrow defeat to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their opening game. Batting first, GT posted a competitive total of 162/6 but failed to defend it as their bowling attack struggled to close out the contest, with Punjab chasing down the target with five balls remaining.

    In contrast, RR head into the fixture on the back of an emphatic win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Guwahati. RR produced a dominant all-round display, dismissing CSK for 127 before completing the chase comfortably in just over 12 overs. Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger starred with the ball, while youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed with a blistering half-century.
