दलीप ट्रॉफी में टीम 'बी' के खिलाफ गिल करेंगे ओपनिंग
Gautam Gambhir: दलीप ट्रॉफी के पहले दौर में टीम 'ए' के कप्तान शुभमन गिल ने पुष्टि की है कि वह गुरुवार से शुरू होने वाले मैच में टीम 'बी' के खिलाफ बल्लेबाजी की शुरुआत करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के तेज गेंदबाज प्रसिद्ध कृष्णा बेंगलुरु के एम चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम में होने वाले पहले दौर के मैच के लिए उपलब्ध नहीं होंगे।
कृष्णा की इस साल 23 फरवरी को उनके बाएं समीपस्थ क्वाड्रिसेप्स टेंडन की सर्जरी हुई थी और वह राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट अकादमी (एनसीए) में पुनर्वास पर हैं। वह हाल ही में महाराजा टी20 ट्रॉफी में भी नहीं खेले, जहां उनकी टीम मैसूर वॉरियर्स ने अंततः खिताब जीता था।
गिल ने पत्रकारों से कहा, “यह (दलीप ट्रॉफी) एक बड़ा टूर्नामेंट है क्योंकि हर मैच हमारे लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। हम कुछ ऐसे खिलाड़ियों के खिलाफ खेल रहे हैं जिनके साथ हम आम तौर पर भारतीय टीम में खेलते हैं। तो हमें अच्छी प्रतिस्पर्धा देखने को मिलेगी। मैं यहां ओपनिंग करूंगा और विकेट काफी अच्छा दिख रहा है।'
