India To Take On Sri Lanka In 5-match Bilateral ODI Deaf Cricket Series
Indian Deaf Cricket Team: Led by captain Virendra Singh, India will take on Sri Lanka in a five-match bilateral One-day International (ODI) Deaf Cricket Series, which started at the DDA Roshanara Club, here on Monday and will conclude on December 8.
For this much-anticipated series, the national men’s selection committee has finalised a squad of 15 players from across the country. Led by captain Virendra Singh, the Indian Deaf Cricket Team will face Sri Lanka in power-packed matches, aiming to clinch the champion's trophy.
At the opening ceremony chief guest Raja Banthia, IPS – DCP North Delhi, extended his best wishes to the participants. He also lauded the Indian Deaf Cricket Association (IDCA) for its significant contribution to promoting deaf cricket in India and internationally.

Sri Lanka Bowled Out For 42 By South Africa, Slump To Their Lowest Score In Test Cricket
World Test Championship: Sri Lanka have recorded their lowest total in Test cricket after being bowled out for just 42 by South Africa in their ongoing series-opening game at Kingsmead on Thursday. Sri Lanka’s 42 all out came in only 13.5 overs, and easily went past their previous lowest Test total of 71, which came against Pakistan in Kandy in 1994. It is also the ninth lowest Test total overall. Fast-bowling all-rounder Marco Jansen was the main wrecker-in-chief by picking a career-best haul of 7-13 in 6.5 overs.
