KL Rahul: सेंट जॉर्ज पार्क में मंगलवार रात दक्षिण अफ्रीका से दूसरा वनडे आठ विकेट से हारने के बाद भारत के कप्तान केएल राहुल को फ्लॉप बल्लेबाजी का अफसोस है, जिससे मेहमान टीम 114/2 से 211 पर सिमट गई।
राहुल और बी साई सुदर्शन के शानदार अर्धशतकों की बदौलत भारत एक समय बड़ा स्कोर खड़ा करने की स्थिति में था, लेकिन इन दोनों बल्लेबाजों के आउट होने के बाद बाकी खिलाड़ी जल्द पवेलियन लौटते चले गए और 46.2 ओवर में 211 रन पर टीम ऑल आउट हो गई।
राहुल ने मैच के बाद कहा, "शुरुआत में थोड़ी मदद मिली। इस पिच पर बल्लेबाजी करना कठिन था लेकिन हममें से कुछ लोग सेट हो गए। अगर हम गलती नहीं करते तो हमें 50-60 रन अतिरिक्त मिल सकते थे और इससे फर्क पड़ता। जब हमने बल्लेबाजी की तो हमने सोचा कि 240-250 भी अच्छा स्कोर होता। एक सेट बल्लेबाज़ के साथ, हम वो रन हासिल कर सकते थे। लेकिन हमने महत्वपूर्ण समय पर विकेट खोए।"
