After a washed-out game in the first ODI, Sri Lanka clinched a close win in the second game. With that win, Sri Lanka have taken a 1-0 unassailable lead in the series. There is only one game left to play.

The third and final game is all set to take place on January 11, Thursday, at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Sri Lanka have a good chance of winning the series, and they will be favourites to do that. On the other hand, Zimbabwe will have to do hard work to draw the series.
