Mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed and fast bowler Mohammad Ali on Monday were rewarded for their strong first-class performances with maiden call-ups to Pakistan's Test squad for the upcoming home series against England.

In the 18-member Pakistan squad announced for three ICC World Test Championship matches against England in December, left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi's name was absent as he was unavailable for selection.
