गुजरात में लगातार बारिश और जलभराव के कारण बाढ़ जैसी स्थिति पैदा हो गई है। राज्य में इस भारी बारिश से मरने वालों की संख्या बढ़कर 28 हो गई है। बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों से अब तक 17,800 लोगों को निकाला गया है। वहीं, अगर गुजरात के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ऋषिकेश पटेल की मानें तो 28 अगस्त तक वडोदरा में 5000 से अधिक लोगों का पुनर्वास किया गया और 12,000 से अधिक लोगों को बचाया गया है।
इस बाढ़ के चलते गुजरात के अलग-अलग शहरों में आम जनजीवन ठप्प सा हो गया है। वहीं, अब भारतीय क्रिकेट रविंन्द्र जडेजा की पत्नी, रिवाबा जडेजा भी बारिश से प्रभावित लोगों की मदद करने के लिए मैदान में उतर चुकी हैं। उनका एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर काफी वायरल हो रहा है जिसमें देखा जा सकता है कि वो कमर तक पानी आने के बावजूद गलियों में निकलकर लोगों की मदद कर रही हैं।
