दिल्ली में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ खेली जा रही तीन मैचों की टी20 इंटरनेशनल सीरीज के दूसरे मैच में युवा नितीश कुमार रेड्डी ने ताबड़तोड़ अर्धशतक जड़ दिया। इसी के साथ वो भारत की तरफ से चौथे सबसे कम उम्र में अर्धशतक जड़ने वाले खिलाड़ी बन गए। टॉप पर रोहित शर्मा काबिज है।
21 साल के नितीश दूसरे टी20 इंटरनेशनल मैच में तब बल्लेबाजी करने आये जब भारत 25 के स्कोर पर 2 विकेट खो चुका था। इसके बाद उन्होंने 27 गेंद में अर्धशतक जड़ दिया और भारत की तरफ से चौथे सबसे कम उम्र में अर्धशतक जड़ने वाले खिलाड़ी बन गए। पहले स्थान पर रोहित है जिन्होंने 2007 में 20 साल की उम्र में अर्धशतक जड़ दिया था। दूसरे स्थान पर तिलक वर्मा है और तीसरे पर ऋषभ पंत मौजूद है।
