Marvellous Ambassador For Indian Cricket: Surinder Khanna Lauds 'once In A Generation' Kohli After Test Retirement
Surinder Khanna: After India stalwart Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, former India cricketer Surinder Khanna lauded the 36-year-old batter as "a marvellous ambassador for Indian cricket" and called him a once-in-a-generation cricketer whose replacement cannot be found easily.
Kohli, who made his Test debut in 2011, announced his retirement from red-ball cricket on Monday through a social media post. He finished his Test career with 9230 runs in 123 matches at an impressive average of 46.85 with 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries.
This came after Rohit Sharma made a surprise announcement to call time on his career in the longest format of the game last week.
