Evolving Australia Want To Make It Three In A Row, Says Meg Lanning Ahead Of T20 World Cup Defence
The eighth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa from February 10-26 gives Australia a chance to make it a three-peat of titles and captain Meg Lanning stated that her evolving team is firmly eyeing to completing three titles in a row in the shortest format of the game.
"It may be my fifth ICC Women's T20 World Cup, but trust me, the excitement bubbling under the surface in the lead up never goes away. For one, it will be the first time I and most of the squad have been to South Africa, and while we can't wait to drink in the culture, we still have a job to do."
