New Delhi, March 14:  New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson, who was placed under 24-hour isolation amid fears of COVID-19, has been cleared after testing negative.

Ferguson was quarantined after he reported a sore throat following the first ODI of the now-postponed Chappell Hadlee series. The 28-year-old cricketer will fly to New Zealand from Sydney on Sunday. "Homeward bound. Lockie Ferguson has also been cleared to fly and will return to New Zealand tomorrow," New Zealand Cricket confirmed in a statement on Saturday.
