Liton, Shakib Miss Out As Bangladesh Announce Champions Trophy Squad

Shakib Al Hasan: Litton Das has been left out of the 15-member Bangladesh squad for the Champions Trophy. A major name missing from the lineup was former skipper and veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto will lead the side for the upcoming ICC Men's Champions Trophy, which will be held next month in Pakistan and the UAE

Liton's axing comes after a series of disappointing performances in ODIs, where he has failed to score a half-century in his last 13 innings and has been dismissed for single-digit scores six times in his last seven innings.
