    T20 World Cup: After the West Indies began their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 campaign with a win over Scotland, cricket legend Ian Bishop elaborated on the team's balance, saying they are missing key pieces like a wrist spinner.

    Shimron Hetmyer’s fluent 64 and Romario Shepherd’s sensational 5-20, including a hat-trick, propelled the West Indies to a 35-run victory over Scotland in their first Group C game in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday.

    "The West Indies are missing key pieces, particularly a wrist spinner. We haven’t found one and given him enough experience yet. A couple of the guys at the top– their batting isn't as consistent as it should be, but they’ve got power. They’ve got some young fast bowlers.
