Australia Announce Cooper Connolly As Captain For U19 World Cup
Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday appointed all-rounder Cooper Connolly as captain for the ICC Under-19 men's Cricket World Cup 2022, scheduled to commence in the West Indies from January 14.
Connolly was also part of Australia's previous campaign in 2020, playing as a 16-year-old in South Africa. He played two matches in the previous tournament and slammed 64 off 53 balls against the West Indies in Benoni.
