Cricket World Cup: Jos Buttler Factfile

One of the cleanest hitters in world cricket, Jos Buttler took over as England's white-ball captain last year following the retirement of Eoin Morgan, leading the team to the T20 World Cup title in his first major tournament as skipper.

While his Test career eventually fizzled out after a surprise recall in 2018, the softly-spoken Buttler's explosiveness with the bat has elevated him to the very top in the game's shorter formats.
