    Ishan Kishan To Make Red-ball Return In Buchi Babu Tournament, To Lead Jharkhand

    Jharkhand State Cricket Association: India wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan will mark his red-ball return in the upcoming Buchi Babu tournament and will be leading Jharkhand in a pre-season red-ball competition in Tamil Nadu, starting on August 15.

    Kishan, who was not part of Jharkhand's original long list, took the decision to participate, and he was drafted in when he communicated this to the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA). He will link up with the squad in Chennai on Wednesday, according to an ESPNcricinfo report.

    The report further stated that Kishan's return to the Ranji Trophy fold is also expected during the 2024-25 season, after he informed the state selectors of his desire to return.
