UEFA Europa League: Manchester United new midfielder Youri Tielemans believes the atmosphere at Old Trafford is one of the special experiences in football, recalling the impact of playing at the iconic stadium for the first time as an opponent when he was part of Aston Villa.

In July, The midfielder signed a contract with Manchester United until June 2031. Last season, he registered seven assists for Aston Villa and helped his club to win the UEFA Europa League, scoring the opening goal in the final against SC Freiburg.

“Manchester United is a massive club. Playing at Old Trafford for the first time as an opponent was a big moment for me. I had never seen a stadium that big in my life. The atmosphere, the crowd, everything about it was amazing. It’s the kind of place every footballer dreams of playing in,” he told Jio Hotstar.
