World Athletics Championships: Kushare Leaps 2.28m, Finishes 6th in High Jump Final
India's Sarvesh Kushare came up with a stunning performance to finish sixth in the Men's High Jump in the World Athletics Championships at the National Stadium here on Tuesday night, ending the historic night with a personal best leap.
Kushare, who made history by becoming the first Indian to enter the final of Men's High Jump in the World Championships, came up with a personal best effort of 2.28 metres to finish sixth in the World Championships. He had qualified for the final on Sunday with another brilliant performance.
