Asian Elite Boxing: Lovlina, Parveen, Saweety, Alfiya strike gold as India dominates the day (2nd Ld)
New Delhi, Nov 11 (Cricketnmore) Indian women's boxing stars Lovlina Borgohain, Parveen Hooda, Saweety Boora and Alfiya Pathan triumphed in the women's finals in scintillating fashion and bagged gold medals at the 2022 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan on Friday.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist Lovlina dominated the 2021 Asian Championships silver medallist Ruzmetova Sokhiba of Uzbekistan and secured a convincing 5-0 win in the 75kg final showcasing strength, athleticism and resolute defence.
