Indian High Commission In Cyprus Lauds Vaishali's Candidates Triumph

Indian GM Vaishali Rameshbabu: High Commission of India in Cyprus has lauded Indian GM Vaishali Rameshbabu for conquering FIDE Women’s Candidates.

R Vaishali became the first Indian to win the FIDE Women’s Candidates title, after she beat Russia’s Kateryna Lagno in the final round on Wednesday.

"A proud moment for #India in Cyprus. Heartiest congratulations to GM R. Vaishali @chessvaishali on her historic victory at the @Fide_Chess Women’s Candidates 2026," High Commission of India in Cyprus shared on X.
