    FIH Hockey Pro League: Indian Women’s Team Goes Down 1-2 Against China

    FIH Hockey Pro League: The Indian women’s hockey team failed to take advantage of an early lead and a narrow 1-2 loss to China, starting on a disappointing note in the Rourkela leg of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023/24 at the Birsa Munda Stadium here on Monday.

    The Indian women’s hockey team took the lead through Sangita Kumari but a brace from Gu Bingfeng (14’, 53’) helped China win the match 2-1.

    India took the lead early in the first quarter courtesy of an extraordinary cross from forward Vandana Katariya and an equally remarkable finish from Sangita Kumari (7’).
