Liverpool Return To Training After Diogo Jota’s Demise
AXA Training Centre: Liverpool football club began their pre-season training as players returned to the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, five days after the tragic passing away of teammate Diogo Jota.
The players returned to several floral tributes left by the fans outside both the training center and Anfield representing the feelings of millions of fans around the world.
Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva passed away in a car accident on Thursday. The accident took place around 12:30 am local time in the Spanish province of Zamora. According to the Spanish police, Jota’s car veered off the road while trying to overtake another vehicle. A tyre blowout caused the car to lose control and caught fire.
