Defence Minister Rajnath Singh: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hailed Neeraj Chopra's win as exceptional and called him the epitome of hard work and dedication.
The Defence Minister on Friday wrote in his X post: "A big congratulations to the exceptional athlete, Neeraj Chopra, for his amazing achievement in the Men’s javelin throw at Paris Olympics 2024 and winning the Silver Medal. He is an epitome of hard work, dedication and consistency. His success has delighted the entire nation."
India's star track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal even and recorded his season-best throw of 89.45m in the Paris Olympics.
