Sr Men’s Nationals: J & K, Chattisgarh In Division C; Chandigarh, Uttarakhand In Division B Secure Victories On Day 4
With that, the Division C matches are over and Hockey Arunachal and Chhattisgarh Hockey have ended the tournament on top of their respective pools with seven and nine points respectively as they win promotion to Division B in the next edition.
The day began with a 2-2 draw between Hockey Raj and Hockey Arunachal Pradesh in Pool A of Division C. Abhinav Singh (29’) opened the scoring for Arunachal Pradesh but Hockey Raj scored two goals on the trot coming from Vishal Kumar (42’) and Pulkit Kesari (46’). In the fourth quarter, Jay Prakash Patel (59’) scored a crucial equaliser for Hockey Arunachal to draw the game and ensure they end the tournament on top of the table.
