Goals were scored by Kazumasa Matsumoto (3', 37'), Yuki Chiba (24') and Seren Tanaka (59') for Japan in regulation time, while Kosei Kawabe, Matsumoto, Tanaka, and Tsubasa Tanaka scored in the shootout.
