Bahamas Great Golf Classic: Dubai-born Indian Rayhan Thomas produced another spectacular round at the AdventHealth Championship, following his opening 64 with a seven-under 65 to move into a share of the halfway lead at 15-under 129.

Thomas shared record-equalling seven-way tie at the top alongside Taylor Dickson, Joseph Bramlett, Davis Shore, John Marshall Butler, Chris Francoeur and first-round leader Andrew Kozan.

The seven-way tie matches the Korn Ferry Tour record for the most players sharing the lead after 36 holes, previously achieved at the 2021 Albertsons Boise Open and the 119th Visa Argentina Open.

Thomas began his second round on the 10th tee and made an immediate impact with back-to-back birdies. He dropped a shot at the 12th before producing the first of his two eagles at the par-five 13th. After two pars, he bogeyed the 16th but responded with birdies on the next two holes to turn in strong fashion.

On his second nine, Thomas dropped another shot at the second but quickly recovered with a birdie on the third. He then caught fire, making three consecutive birdies from the fifth through seventh holes. His round featured eight birdies and an eagle against three bogeys, taking him to 15-under for the tournament and into the first lead or co-lead of his Korn Ferry Tour career.

Thomas, a former Oklahoma State player, is making his 45th Korn Ferry Tour start. He has recorded three top-25 finishes this season, highlighted by a tied-third finish at the BMW Charity Pro-Am. He currently stands No. 68 on the 2026 Points List.

The Dubai-born golfer earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2025 season after successfully advancing through all three stages of PGA Tour Q-School. He finished No. 88 on the 2025 Points List and began the current campaign with conditional status before improving his position through another successful Q-School campaign.

Three-time Korn Ferry Tour winner Dickson matched Thomas at 15-under with a bogey-free eight-under 64. The 2026 Bahamas Great Golf Classic winner is currently No. 13 on the Points List and has added two more top-10 finishes this season.

Shore produced one of the day's standout rounds among the leaders, firing a bogey-free nine-under 63 to reach 15-under. He heads into the weekend with confidence after finishing runner-up at last week's Albertsons Boise Open.

John Marshall Butler posted the lowest round of the second day, a bogey-free 10-under 62, to surge into the lead. Bramlett also made a dramatic move, closing with birdies on four of his final five holes for a seven-under 65. The veteran spent six consecutive seasons on the PGA TOUR from 2019 through 2025 and is now in his best position after 36 holes on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Francoeur matched Bramlett's 65 to join the leaders, while Kozan, who stunned the field with a 12-under 60 in the opening round, followed with a three-under 69. He remained at 15-under and secured his first 36-hole lead or co-lead in his 100th Korn Ferry Tour start.

With 36 holes still to play, Thomas will now look to convert his breakthrough halfway position into his first Korn Ferry Tour victory. The AdventHealth Championship also carries significance for the wider season, with the top 156 players on the Points List after the event qualifying for the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, the first of four season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals events.
