Naman Ojha, who celebrates his birthday on 20th July, comes under the category of Domestic giants who couldn't prove themselves at the international level. The wicket-keeper batter always remained a fringe player for the national team and never became the first choice. 

Here are some interesting facts, trivia about Naman Ojha:

1) Ojha was born in Ujjain in 1983 but grew up in Ratlam where he started playing cricket. However, due to the lack of facilities, Naman had to move to Indore at the age of 14.

2) While playing in a camp in Indore, Naman Ojha was introduced to Sanjay Jagdale, a cricket administrator, who asked him to join the Cricket Club Of Indore(CCI). Ojha developed his game under the watchful eyes of 'Bade Sir'. 

3) Ojha rose quickly through the ranks once he started playing grade cricket, Divisional cricket, Under-19, and made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh in 2000-01.

4) In his 100th first-class match, Naman Ojha scored a century in both innings while playing for India A against Australia A at Brisbane, in July 2014. He scored a double century in the first innings and added 122 runs with the tailenders, whose combined contributions to those two partnerships were 11 runs. 

5) After his phenomenal India A tour against Australia, Ojha got a Test call-up against Sri Lanka. In his only Test, the wicketkeeper-batter scored 56 runs. 

6) Ojha scored 835 runs in seven Ranji Trophy matches in the 2013-14 Season for Madhya Pradesh; his best returns in over a decade of domestic cricket.

7) Naman Ojha got married in 2011. During his wedding reception, 25 caterers were abducted from the Hotel in Ratlam. The case was, however, cracked soon. This story was shared by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag. 

8) In 146 First-Class games, Naman Ojha scored 9753 runs at an average of 41.47. He hit 22 centuries and 55 half-centuries, with the best score of 219.
