After winning the fourth T20I match by 59 runs India clinched the five-match T20I series by 3-1 with the last match to be played on Sunday. As these two sides square off one more in Florida, India is anticipated to test its depth, while West Indies will be eager to add another victory to their resume.
In the fourth T20I India batted first and scored a decent total of 192 with a loss of five wickets. Indian batting looked composed as every batter contributed in setting a good total against the host West Indies.
Rohit Sharma (33 of 16 balls), Pant (44 of 31 balls), Samson (30 of 23 balls) were the scorers for India. Apart from them, Deepak Hooda (21 of 19 balls) was playing his first match of the tour went well, Suryakumar (24 of 14 balls) delivered a quick innings.
Chasing the total, West Indies were held to 132 in 19.1 overs thanks to an outstanding bowling effort by Indians, who went on to win the match by 59 runs. With this victory, India has secured a 3-1 unbeatable advantage and the 5-match T20I series.
Team India's leading wicket-taker, Arshdeep Singh (3/12, in 3.1 overs) bowled really very well, Avesh Khan got things going with two wickets, and then Axar Patel, and Ravi Bishnoi each contributed two more to keep West Indies to 132/10 and secure a 59-run victory.
The best scorers for the hosts were Rovman Powell and captain Nicholas Pooran, who each hit 24 runs.
In the fifth and final T20I of the series, West Indies will be hoping to register the second win of the series. Whereas, India will target to get an upper hand over two-time T20 World Cup Champions and get the fourth win of the series.
